One of the most important vehicles for change is government policy.  By acting as a voice for those who have none, we will advocate for better programs, incentives and laws that empower those who have had their choices limited because of a lack of opportunity and justice.

Xiente advocates directly with policymakers and elected officials on behalf of those facing economic uncertainty and persistent poverty, at the local, state and national level.  In areas that are key building blocks to economic mobility: early childhood education, youth programs, job creation, housing, healthcare, and more.  

To disrupt generational poverty, we need to influence government policy and programs.
