Xiente is thrilled to announce that our organization has been recognized as a community hero by Phillies Charities, Inc., the charitable arm of the Philadelphia Phillies. This prestigious honor comes in celebration of Giving Tuesday, where extraordinary area charities, including Xiente, were acknowledged for their exceptional efforts in providing vital resources to those in need. Phillies Charities, Inc. has pledged a total of $2.1 million in grants to support the important work of these community heroes.
The Holiday Giving Party, held at Citizens Bank Park, was a heartwarming event where Xiente and other community heroes were celebrated for their outstanding contributions. We were also honored on-field prior to the game on April 15, a momentous occasion that showcased our dedication and selflessness.
We are deeply grateful to Phillies Charities, Inc. for their generous support. Xiente, along with 36 other charitable organizations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and near the Phillies minor league affiliates, received a $35,000 grant, recognizing the impact of our work in the community.
Furthermore, Phillies Charities, Inc. extended their generosity by awarding a total of $812,000 in grants to various community organizations and non-profits, recognizing the invaluable contributions of organizations such as ALS United Mid-Atlantic, Bethesda Project, Clearwater for Youth, Police Athletic League, Richie Ashburn-Harry Kalas Foundation, Strawberry Mansion Learning Center, and the Tug McGraw Foundation.
Amidst the spirit of giving, the Phillies Season of Giving presented by SEI unfolded, encompassing charitable events throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding area, all aimed at spreading holiday cheer. Xiente will continue to embody the true meaning of compassion and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on the lives we touch.
