Larry Garfield is president of Agency B, a brand and marketing consultancy. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Larry’s professional career has spanned 40 years. After working at top agencies such as Lewis, Gilman & Kynett in Philadelphia and Young & Rubicam in New York City he founded Garfield Group in 1990.

With offices in Philadelphia and Boston, Garfield Group grew to become one of the largest agencies focused on technology and social innovation brands. These included IBM, BEA Systems, Switchboard.com, IMS Health, Logic Works, Vertex and a number of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), that drive economic mobility in underserved communities.

After selling Garfield Group, Larry founded Agency B, working with purpose-driven brands such as Patina Health, Connectedly, Hopeworks, Xiente, Epoxy.ai, The United Way, CDFI Friendly America and Community First Fund.

Larry is a die-hard Philadelphian through and through — especially anything that involves Philly sports. He and his wife Jennifer have had the privilege and joy of raising three sons, Nathan, Sam and Bennett.
