Intensive Prevention Services

Guiding Youth Toward Safer, Brighter Futures

At Xiente, we believe every young person deserves the chance to thrive—regardless of their circumstances. Our Intensive Prevention Services (IPS) program is designed to support youth ages 10 to 19 who are at risk of involvement with the juvenile justice system.

Through counseling, academic enrichment, family support, and structured case management, IPS builds protective factors that reduce risk and help youth make better choices. We walk alongside each participant and their family, creating a plan tailored to their strengths, goals, and challenges.

Why IPS Matters

Philadelphia’s youth face significant barriers to success—including poverty, systemic inequality, and limited access to safe spaces. IPS acts as a protective buffer, connecting young people with trusted adults and wraparound supports before harmful behaviors escalate.

“IPS gave me the space to think about who I want to be—and the tools to get there.”
